Marcus Gronholm remporte son quatrième succès en Suède alors que son protégé Jari-Matti Latvala abandonne suite à un problème moteur. Plusieurs Ford de l’équipe M-Sport sont d’ailleurs handicapées par une pipe de radiateur gelée. Chris Atkinson perd une place au classement général final suite à une sortie de route. Revanche du Monte-Carlo, Manfred Stohl en profite.
